WE AT INSTA DIGITAL

Our services include concepting, design, implementation, and quality assurance of demanding digital products and services that are reliable and have security built in. We work in a variety of domains. Most of our customers are companies in the industrial sector, where our solutions are used by mobile work machinery operators, production line workers, product development experts, and autonomous robots. However, we do also work with customers focusing on other domains too. Our organization consists of over 70 highly skilled professionals who, as are working in areas of Data, Web&Cloud, Embedded and Design/QA/DevOps.

YOUR ROLE

You will be working as part of and leading an agile software development team. Our teams are working on topics like control system software for intelligent machinery or cloud-based services that operate in complex distributed systems and communicate through well-defined APIs with rich user interfaces.

Your first priority will be creating cutting-edge technology solutions for customers with the rest of the team. You have a chance to be closely involved with the technology selection process and architectural designing, and you will have great influence on the project outcome. To achieve this you don´t hesitate to take part in implementing the solutions. We use the most robust and flexible technologies and create modern solutions that fullfill customer needs. Addition the the previous, you will act as the first point of contact to your customer.

Your work is flexible, but you will be visiting the Finlayson office and customer premises in the Pirkanmaa area occasionally to work with your Insta and customer colleagues. Thus, your preferred location is Tampere.

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

Your experience can be either from embedded software or web/cloud software development. You should have at least around 5 years of work experience in more senior software development/architecting roles and some experience in roles like scrum master or project leadership tasks.

You have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and lead your project team. Naturally we are expecting you to have the ability to self-manage and lead your own work. You collaborate effectively with your customers and have a sales oriented mindset. You are comfortable speaking English with international customers and colleagues. Finnish language skills are seen as a plus.

Coming from an embedded software background? We are expecting a good grip on C and C++, Linux, and real-time systems.

More familiar with cloud-based systems and web development? We would like you to have some knowledge of modern front-end and back-end frameworks, databases, containerization, and cloud infrastructures.

As we hope you have minimum some years of experience, the salary range at this position is approximately 4500-6000 euros.
