WHAT WOULD I BE DOING?

You will be working as a test professional in our Embedded & Systems software technology area. You will utilize your test automation skills to support the validation of our customers’ products and services and ensure high quality. We utilize modern, robust technologies and you should be familiar with such, added with an urge to learn more.

You will be joining an agile software dev team of 9 experts working on an industrial remote operation and fleet management system. You will be working closely with developers and junior QA engineers to ensure the high quality of the solution. The code is implemented on a Linux/C++/Qt/QML stack and your main tool will be Robot Framework. You will be scripting and using Python as part of your work too. The specific responsibilities within the project will be determined based on your skills and aspirations and they can also include CI/CD work with Jenkins and/or software development.

Your team is based in Tampere city center, and you should be able to spend time at the office with the team. Your main test environment will be the HIL setup in our Finlayson office. You will have a chance to visit the customer a couple of times a year too. As a more experienced professional, you will have opportunities in leading, coaching, and business development – if this is something that is in line with your ambitions.

• Ability to take responsibility in your work, self-manage, and work efficiently as part of an agile software dev team
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• At least three years of work experience in quality assurance and test automation as part of of an agile software development team
• Experience on working with test plans and writing, reviewing, and as well as updating test cases
• Experience with Python, Robot Framework, scripting, Linux, and Git
• Jenkins and C++ experience are seen as a plus
